Maintenance Electrician

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our Maintenance team as a Maintenance Electrician. The position involves repairing, installing, replacing, and testing electrical circuits and equipment. Responsibilities also include performing routine maintenance on mill equipment, as well as repairing and maintaining various electrical and electronic equipment. The ideal candidate should have a background in electrical fundamentals and experience with power distribution systems, motor controls, and machine control systems.

What you will do:

  • Perform routine electrical/electronic preventative maintenance
  • Repair, modify, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment
  • Wiring circuits, replacing components, and repairing electronic devices
  • Perform test reading using instruments such as multi-meter and Megger
  • Remain current in technical changes or equipment designs
  • Work rotating shifts, including nights, holidays, weekends, and overtime as scheduled or required
  • What you will need:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Background in Electrical fundamentals
    • Knowledge in 3 phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, and wiring
    • Experience with 480-volt power and logic circuits
    • Strong computer, math, analytical, and planning skills
