The position requires maintaining vehicle documentation, conducting inspections, and supervising Work-Based Learning students to enhance their employability skills.ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and inspections of the Center's facilities and systems to ensure functionalityComplete, track, and document work status and notify supervisor of issuesSupervise Work-Based Learning students to enhance their employability skillsProvide timely and efficient student transportation servicesMaintain appropriate vehicle documentation per DOL/Company requirementsSchedule and deliver vehicles for preventive maintenance and repairsConduct vehicle inspections and report safety issues to supervisorProduce quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely, and accurate mannerPlan, prioritize, and organize assignments to meet established goals and deadlinesMentor and model the Career Success Standards for studentsAbout Brunswick Job Corps Center The Brunswick Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology. The Center also provides a nutritious affordably priced lunch to staff.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. Prefer previous experience working with youth. Must possess and maintain a valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements.Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and/or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
