Maintenance: Housekeeper (21Hr/Wk) - Iberville Elementary School - Iberville Parish Schools : Job Details

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment, and ability to use them economically and efficiently; additional criteria as the Board may establish. Physical and mental stamina and ability to perform job functions, tasks and duties. REPORTS TO: Head Custodian SUPERVISES: None TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 Months PAY FACTOR: Non -Applicable JOB GOAL: To maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Sweeps and wet and dry mops floors. Vacuums and cares for carpeting. Washes windows and walls and polishes furniture. Cleans restrooms, kitchen area and cafeteria. Dusts woodwork, furniture and other articles. Picks up paper and debris on grounds. Empties and cleans waste receptacles. Cleans chalkboards and chalk sills. Assists in all summer cleaning and general cleaning as instructed by supervisor. Performs any additional duties assigned by superintendent and/or evaluator. PROFESSIONAL ETHICS: Maintains good attendance. Reports to work on time. Displays professional ethics on and off duty. Adheres to all Iberville Parish School Board's Policies Reports to job-related injuries within 48 hours of work accident to the immediate supervisor. Assumes responsibility for implementation of emergency procedures. Seeks and maintains a positive attitude of promoting school and community relations. Participates in and promotes harmonious working relationships with students, colleagues, parents and community members. Attends meetings as directed. Serves on task force and decision-making committees, when appropriate. />
