Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Maintenance & Housekeeping to oversee the comprehensive maintenance and housekeeping operations of our facility. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring that our facility remains in excellent condition, meeting all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Management: Oversee all facility maintenance, including routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency fixes.
  • Housekeeping Oversight: Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility. Supervise housekeeping staff to maintain a pristine environment.
  • Staff Management: Develop and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient operation. Handle payroll processing and staff-related administrative tasks.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
  • Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers. Ensure that all external work meets our facilitys standards.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage maintenance and housekeeping budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Compliance: Ensure all maintenance and housekeeping activities comply with regulatory requirements and facility policies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a director or assistant director role in maintenance or housekeeping, preferably in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising and managing a team.
  • Organizational Abilities: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Administrative Skills: Proficiency in scheduling, payroll management, and budgeting.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
