• Perform ongoing preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical and other building systems
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential issues and make repairs
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently
• Use existing procedures to solve straight forward problems. Exchange straight forward information in a clear, concise manner
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job related experience. In lieu of diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 pounds or more
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work
• Excellent communication skills to exchange straight forward information
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other relevant systems is a plus
