Benefits Available benefits to full time employees of the Putnam County Schools include medical insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance and supplemental insurance policies through USable. All full time employees must participate in the state retirement program. 1 Sick Day Per Month Up To 12 Per School Year 1 Vacation Day per month of calendar year service for a maximum of 12 per calendar year during their first two years of service. 1 additional day will be awarded after the third, fourth and fifth year of service. Holidays: 13 Paid as follows: New Years Day Labor Day Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Thanksgiving day President's Day Day after Thanksgiving Good Friday Christmas Eve Memorial Day Christmas Day Independence Day and one additional connected day New Years Eve Part time employees are eligible for dental, vision at full price and some USable policies.
