  • Working knowledge of all aspects of building and property maintenance (hvac, plumbing, minor electrical, equipment, etc.)
  • Daily walk-throughs of buildings and property
  • Clean and maintain tools and equipment in working order
  • Complete daily work orders in a timely manner, and document maintenance and repairs
  • Report deficiencies noted in buildings and properties
  • Once trained, able to train co-workers
  • Verbal and written communication
  • Work schedule will include Saturday or Sunday, as well as overtime
Other Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to policies and procedures of Full Sail University
  • Follow policies and procedures of the building maintenance department
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of company and personnel information
  • Adhere to company attendance standards
  • Learn and perform other tasks as assigned

Education and/or Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • Minimum five years of relevant work experience preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Valid Florida driver's license required
  • EPA certification preferred
Computer/Equipment Skills:
  • Working knowledge of computer software programs such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time, and will be subject to bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, reaching, climbing ladders, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds, as well as lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. The employee will frequently be subject to noise, repetitive motions, working overhead. In order to complete work assignments, the employee will work in a variety of adverse conditions such as tight or enclosed spaces, heights, humidity, hot and cold weather, indoors as well as outdoors.Full Sail is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
