Maintenance - CITY MISSION LIVING STONES : Job Details

PURPOSE: Responsible for the general property maintenance of City Mission properties to include shelters and apartments. Experience with HVAC, plumbing and electrical needed. Responsible for interior and exterior building maintenance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - JOB DUTIES: The following duties are considered essential to the job. Qualified individuals must have the ability to perform the following duties.Troubleshooting:Work with Director of Operations and Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate and carry out repairs and maintenance for City Mission's apartments as well as troubleshoot and carry out maintenance concerns at Agency program buildings.Facilities as needed:Maintain building grounds to include but not limited to lawn mowing and snow removal while adhering to all necessary safety precautions.Janitorial Duties as needed:When necessary, responsible for cleaning interior building community spaces including lounge areas, bathrooms, floors and carpets, offices, stairs, walkways and elevators, laundry areas, etc.Other:Participate as a member of the Agency Safety Committee.MAINTANCE JOB REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION/KNOWLDEGE/JOB REQUIREMENTSSpecific Education, Certification, and/or Licensure:High School Diploma/GED required. Ability to work independently. General knowledge of and practical skills in building maintenance.
