Working knowledge of building maintenance, system operations, chemicals, cleaning supplies, equipment, and OSHA Standards is preferred. Description: MSAD #11 is looking for a responsible maintenance person to help maintain and protect our facilities. The external and internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants. It is important for a maintenance person to be careful and thorough in working and maintaining the premises. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building upkeep. They will have great physical endurance, a keen eye for detail, and diligence and pride in one's work. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will have knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and equipment repair; Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize a variety of responsibilities and complete work in a timely manner; Strong communication skills; Basic computer skills; The ability to work independently on various projects; and The ability to lift more than 50 lbs. and climb ladders.
