Job Description Maintains facility and ground providing a safe and clean-living environment for clients and staff.
- Makes monthly inspections of the facility including buildings, grounds, and vehicles.
- Corrects possible dangerous conditions immediately.
- Serves as safety officer.
- Keeps all equipment in safe working condition.
- Ensures snow removal occurs from drive and sidewalks as necessary.
- Attends monthly program and quarterly corporate infection control/safety of the environment.
- Maintains grounds such as buildings, painting, window repair, walls and furniture.
- Cleans air conditioners, vents, and filters on furnace.
- Oversees and inventories camping room.
- Takes inventory of all maintenance and cleaning supplies and submits this to the Executive Director
- Attends quarterly infection control meetings and implements sound infection control practices.
- Maintains furnace room and keeps it free of debris and clutter.
- Capable of being on call for emergency transportation.
- Implements Saint Francis Ministries policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), rules, personnel policies, and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state, and local rules, statutes, regulations, and all contractual terms.
- Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels.
- Ensures clients' rights are protected.
- Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED.
- First Aid/CPR.
- Mandt.
- Prefer two years related experience.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must pass a drug screen, MVR, KBI and Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry clearance check; pass a physical examination and TB Skin Test
- Lifting Requirements of 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
