What You'll Be Doing •Directs and assigns the work of maintenance. •Performs maintenance of equipment •Inspects work for completeness. •Determines material, equipment, and supplies to be used. •Submits paperwork to order necessary material, equipment, parts, and supplies needed to maintain production. •Inspect, monitors, and tests machinery and production equipment. Works on improving existing equipment. •Supplies Plant Manager with information for dismantling defective production machines and equipment and the installation of new or repaired parts. •Monitors the cleaning and lubrication of shafts, bearings, gears, conveyors and other parts of production machinery. •Monitors the repairs and of pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. •Maintains sufficient understanding of all machinery used in the production process to ensure proper functioning procedures. •Enforces all safety rules and regulations and maintains good housekeeping in all related areas. •Confers with the Plant Manager on any equipment problems. As well as analyzing and resolving equipment problems or assisting others in solving problems in a helpful and timely manner. •Develops and implements preventative maintenance schedule for all machines. •Works with outside vendors to schedule PM's for equipment such as heating, cutting the grass, repairs on the yard tractor, and new projects. •Manage and improve work order and PM processes. What You'll Bring •High School Diploma or Equivalent, trade school preferred •5+ years' experience installing, repairing and maintaining industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience •Filling line experience is required •Basic understanding of packaging equipment is required •Prior experience with work order management •Pass basic mechanical and electrical aptitude test •Understand Allen Bradly logic troubleshooting •Intermediate level of computer proficiency What You Will Get KIK offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including health, wellness, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
