LHH is seeking a skilled Maintenance Lead to join a dynamic company. This critical role ensures the smooth operation of equipment and systems, leading a team of maintenance technicians to deliver top-quality maintenance services. The Maintenance Lead will be responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. The anticipated salary for this position is between $70,000-$90,000 a year.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, guide, and organize a team of maintenance technicians. Offer training and support to promote high performance and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Supervise the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing and distribution equipment, such as production machinery, conveyor systems, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Monitor the effectiveness of preventive maintenance programs and adjust as necessary.
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. Diagnose and resolve equipment failures promptly to minimize production interruptions.
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and company policies. Perform regular safety inspections and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
- Oversee the inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts. Collaborate with suppliers to acquire required parts and materials, while effectively managing maintenance budgets.
- Record keeping of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Prepare reports on maintenance operations, emphasizing key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Identify and implement process improvements to boost operational efficiency, lower maintenance costs, and enhance equipment reliability. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
- Review and process purchase orders (POs) for accuracy and compliance with company policies. Coordinate with suppliers to verify order details, delivery schedules, and any changes to the PO. Maintain PO records and monitor order status to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Verify and match invoices with the corresponding purchase orders and receipts. Address discrepancies between invoices and POs or receipts, and work with vendors to resolve issues promptly. Process approved invoices for payment following company procedures and ensure proper documentation.
- Maintain well-organized and accurate records of all purchase orders, invoices, and related correspondence. Ensure documentation is easily accessible for audits and financial reporting.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical degree or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
