Maintenance Lead - NOV : Job Details

Job Description This position plays an integral role in the supervision, motivation, and planning of the activities of the maintenance department to support engineering and manufacturing processes with skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support, while maintaining all Quality and Safety measures. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise/plan all shifts per Max Maintenance work orders.
• Assist with all electrical/mechanical issues as needed.
• Ensure communication with Maintenance Manager.
• Work with Engineering on equipment improvements and projects.
• Ensure inventory of replacement repair parts.
• Operate in support of production goals as specified by Plant Manager.
• Motivate employees to give maximum efforts in professional manner.
• Ensure that all safety procedures are being followed.
• Maintain weekly employee attendance records.
• Maintain accurate production data.
• Hold departmental meetings as needed to discuss updates and/or changes in company policies, procedures, goals, etc.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Comply with all NOV Company/HSE/Quality policies, guidelines and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must have background in mechanical and electrical repair with use of shop tools.
• 2-5 years of general industrial maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical prints.
• Ability to work overtime and shift work as required.
• Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.
• Lifting and Push/Pull weights up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Travel less than 10%
