Maintenance/Line Technician - Warehouse Services : Job Details

POSITION:IPG Maintenance/ Line Tech -DaysLOCATION:Evansville, INUnder the appropriate supervision, the Maintenance Tech performs preventative maintenance and equipment repairs to insure the safe operation of mobile / stationary equipment.Also assists in the application of procedures pertaining to general maintenance.Duties may require manual, clerical and data entry skills.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists in preventive and routine maintenance program on all equipment.

Prepares and maintains all logs, charts and other required documents for each piece of equipment.

Operates all material handling equipment required.

Assists in repairs of equipment as required.

Maintains and sets up all Lines prior to production runs.

Perform repairs on equipment

Provides coverage for absence of Lab Technician.

Assists with continuous improvements

Some Electrical/Mechanical background.

Any other duties assigned by the Site Manager

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills

Minimum of 10 years plastic extrusion experience.

Forklift certified or able to obtain certification

Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
