Job DetailsJob Details:We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Maintenance Manager to join our manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the overall success of our operations by ensuring that all equipment and systems are maintained to the highest standards. The Permanent Maintenance Manager will play a critical role in maintaining our manufacturing facility's reliability, safety, and efficiency. This role will require a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, preventive maintenance, sanitation, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to excellence.Responsibilities:1. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.2. Oversee the maintenance team and provide guidance and training to ensure all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.3. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.4. Collaborate with other department heads to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to production schedules.5. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards.6. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and generate regular reports on equipment status and maintenance costs.7. Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that all equipment and systems meet quality standards.8. Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.9. Stay current with the latest technologies and best practices in the manufacturing industry to drive continuous improvement in our maintenance operations.Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a leadership role, as a Maintenance/Reliability Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
  • Experience with food safety, Quality Assurance, GMP's, or Sanitation preferred.
  • Must have related experience working with 480v, VFD's, and servos.
  • Experience with equipment troubleshooting and repair.
  • Knowledge of electric drive systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and automation equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree preferred.
