Maintenance Manager - Judge Direct Placement : Job Details

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Plant Maintenance Manager in Elgin, IL! The qualified candidate will be responsible for handling all maintenance and assigned projects within the plant.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all resources are being used efficiently and effectively
• Ensure all subordinates and following all laws and guidelines including OSHA, EPA, DHEC, NEC and FDA guidelines
• Direct mechanics for all maintenance work and ensure assignments are in relation to their skills
• Control duration, cost, quality, and thoroughness of all work
• Assign and direct all PPM work orders
• Review and make adjustments to all planned job packages
• Ensure safe work practices are followed
• Oversee skills training and development of employees
• Confirm all work is reported through the CMMS daily
• Supervise all direct reports, complete reviews and provide feedback

Requirements:

• 5-10 years technical experience in the food industry
• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Bachelor's degree required, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering preferred
• Experience with preventative/predictive maintenance
• Strong analytical ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership skills
