Job DescriptionMaintenance Reliability Manager - Transformational Leadership Role - Paying up to $115,000!Location: Multiple locations available: Englewood, NJ; Valdosta, GA; or Decatur, IL.About the Opportunity:Greer Financial Services has a strategic business partner in need of a strategic and tactical change agent. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Reliability Manager to spearhead a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) transformation across multiple manufacturing sites. As a change agent and coach, you will train and mentor site leadership teams in the effective deployment of key TPM and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies, aligned with a comprehensive performance system. You will foster a learning culture that embraces standardized work, transparent information flow, effective problem-solving, strategic deployment, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Your leadership will drive operational productivity through focused improvement teams targeting line efficiency, breakdown reduction, maintenance optimization, a robust safety culture, and stringent quality compliance.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, teach, and coach teams during TPM implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with Plant Leadership and Operations/Maintenance teams to deploy TPM and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Present project status updates to plant and corporate leadership teams on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Manage and collaborate with a team of technical writers to generate necessary documentation for TPM and RCM initiatives.
  • Drive the continued development and implementation of the performance system, specifically focusing on a Continuous Improvement culture for TPM, Value Stream Flow, and Visual Factory Principles (standardized work, problem-solving, strategy deployment, and continuous improvement).
  • Coordinate the development of the TPM/RCM master plan and pillar phase plans, tracking progress and leading issue resolution through gap analysis and plan adjustments.
  • Participate in departmental reviews and activities to ensure integrated work and on-track progress. Conduct quarterly TPM audits to assess progress toward phase goals.
  • Interface with vendors and contractors to ensure company needs are met.
  • Manage projects from concept to completion, supporting the Continuous Improvement TPM/RCM program's strategic plan for sustainability.
  • Take ownership of change initiatives, from identifying opportunities for evolution/efficiency to project delivery via internal governance and controls.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of various TPM pillars and their integration through the master plan to achieve improved results.
  • Complete post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery and identify areas for future improvement.
Collaborate with the operations team to establish production line operating metrics such as efficiencies, uptime, and reliability, identifying trends and process variations to establish a continuous improvement monitoring systemRequirementsEssential Competencies:
  • Working knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles within at least one of the following TPM Pillars: Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement, or Early Management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to set a vision, manage change, develop personnel, and strategically plan for continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively communicating with all levels of the organization (from operators to executive leadership) and influencing others across multiple levels.
  • Thorough knowledge of processing and packaging equipment to effectively lead technical resources in maintaining production line equipment for high levels of productivity.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience required.
  • Related Experience:
    • 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing and supply chain environment.
    • 8+ years of experience working with and understanding TPM principles and methods.
    • Experience leading or managing TPM implementation across multiple sites or a single large manufacturing location.
  • Equipment/Software Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Preferred Certifications:
    • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to walk up stairways and stand for extended periods (2-4 hours). Must be able to travel domestically.
  • Sensory: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of partners, senior managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Mental/Reasoning: Ability to analyze numerous situations and utilize rational reasoning to arrive at multiple conclusions.
Travel:
  • 75% during the Implementation Phase
  • Up to 25% during normal operations
