Maintenance Mechanic - 21930 - Bergaila & Associates : Job Details

We are seeking an Maintenance Mechanic for assignment in Wilmington, Delaware. The selected candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on water/wastewater treatment plants, and related facilities equipment, on an assigned shift. Hours are Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm Responsibilities - Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors and other equipment related to the wastewater treatment processes- Lubricates equipment and checks for malfunctions; replaces packing in pumps or valves; replaces bearings in motors, pumps and other equipment; tunes engines, sets valve clearance, cleans and adjusts regulators - Analyzes equipment failures to determine cause and to prevent recurrences- Installs and sets up new equipment - Performs quality control tasks following completion of maintenance projects and tasks- Cleans out pipes and performs other plumbing and pipe fitting tasks as required- Uses gas and/or arc welding equipment to heat, cut, braze or weld-...Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance, Mechanic, Equipment, Motors, Wastewater, Manufacturing, Automotive
