Maintenance Mechanic Grade 1 - Ecobat : Job Details

POSITION DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this position is to provide maintenance of plant equipment including mixers, pumps, screw conveyors, motors, bearings, gear boxes, hydraulic systems, and maintenance welding.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrate the ability and desire to learn the skills necessary for further advancement
• Understand and demonstrate basic electrical safety
• Possess the required tools
• Be able to properly & safely use hand tools
• Operate MC Cart, Fork Lift and Man Lift
• Demonstrate ability to use basic measuring tools (tape measure, scale, ruler, square, etc.)
• Demonstrate above average accuracy of work in regards to EHS
• Other duties as assigned.

PRE-HIRE REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess a valid US Driver's License
• Able to work any shift
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in industrial environment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to perform physical labor
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Have verifiable experience or schooling in the Industrial Mechanical Field
• Score at least 40% on the Mechanical Maintenance Technician test
• Demonstrate the ability and desire to learn the skills necessary for further advancement
• Understand and demonstrate basic electrical safety
• Possess the required tools
• Be able to properly & safely use hand tools
• Demonstrate ability to use basic measuring tools (tape measure, scale, ruler, square, etc.)
• Demonstrate above average accuracy of work in regards to EHS
• Competent in Requirements of the Mechanical Maint. Agreement.
