Maintenance Mechanic - US Silica : Job Details

Essential Job Functions:

* Perform maintenance on all vehicles, equipment, and facilities in accordance with established scheduled and procedures.

* Inspect all vehicles, equipment, and facilities for defects.

* Troubleshoot/Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs utilizing diagnostic aids and tools.

* Identifies materials and parts needed to repair vehicles, equipment, and facilities.

* Hoists, transports, and positions equipment as required using cranes, hoisting apparatus, and powered vehicles.

* Maintain a clean and tidy working environment

* Other duties assigned

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills/Abilities:

* High School Diploma

* 1-2 years of related experience

* Ability to work as a part of a team with co-workers of various skill levels.

* Ability to complete preventive maint., diagnose, and repair vehicles/equipment with gasoline and diesel engines.

* Knowledge and ability to trouble shoot and repair air brake systems and chassis components

* Knowledge of 12/24 volt electrical systems

* Hydraulic system knowledge and experience preferred

* Skilled in welding, cutting and rigging.

* Ability to work from elevated spaces (man lifts and crane baskets) in all weather conditions.

* Ability to operate all equipment on site

Pay:

$25-$35 based on skill set and experience
