• Ability to perform preventative maintenance on, troubleshoot and repair belts, piping, filters, mixers, conveyors, valves, bearings, and mechanical seals.
• Ability to troubleshoot and proof testing of equipment as necessary to solve problems and pro-actively prevent them.
• Experience maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting mechanical, and electrical systems to include: pumps, valves, bearings, mechanical drives, electrical circuits, motors, belts, fasteners, pneumatics (including pneumatic control systems), conveyors, actuators, pipe fitting, production and packaging equipment.
• Ability to install, test, and maintain control devices, pressure sensing units, and flow measuring devices install calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and repair Allen Bradley PLC's; and install, test and maintain process motor control systems.
• Ability to work from detailed technical documents, blueprints, schematics, etc.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills.
• Experience with PLC ladder logic troubleshooting, 480 volt 3 phase, maintenance of power systems through standard instrumentation is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and/or related skilled trades.
• Basic Computer skills. PLC skills preferred. (Experience with Allen Bradley Panel view systems and
• Experience working a CMMS preferred; Micro-Main a plus.
• Understanding of basics of hydraulic theory and its applications; understanding of applicable utility systems; and understanding of plant instrumentation/control systems such as level detection, temperature measurement, mass and magnetic flow meters, etc. Allen Bradley PLC networking equipment desired).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
