Summary:
Inspects, maintains, repairs or replaces equipment systems and property at all Health Quest owned or leased property, as necessary to maintain a safe, secure, comfortable aesthetically pleasing environment for patients, visitors, medical staff and employees.Must be familiar with fire and disaster plans.Performs security duties and other duties assigned.
Responsibilities:
1.Performs routine and emergency maintenance, troubleshoots and repairs equipment and other Health Quest property as necessary to complete requirements of work orders or verbal instructions.
2.Completes planned maintenance tasks as assigned.
3.Adheres to Nuvance Health and department policies and procedures written and verbal.
4.Demonstrates sufficient skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and patching, HVAC, mechanical, grounds care and others as required to perform the duties expected, with a good expertise in at least one trade.
5.Performs snow removal assignments during winter months so as to provide access and egress for patients and employees.
6.Promotes a safe and efficient working environment by adhering to Health Quest and department policies and procedures.
7.Guest Relations: Demonstrates regard for the dignity and respect of all patients, family members, visitors and employees as defined in the philosophy of Nuvance Health.
8.Maintain and Model Nuvance Health Values.
9.Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.

Other information:
Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
Requires a minimum of three years in building maintenance with emphasis in one of the primary trades.
