Shift 1 (United States of America)Position Summary:We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Mt Orab, Ohio. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within facilities.Work You'll Do:
  • Install and maintain systems and equipment.
  • Inspect and test systems and equipment to identify any faults or issues.
  • Repair or replace faulty components.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks.
  • Advise on potential upgrades or improvements to various systems.
  • Perform general cleaning, upkeep, and maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on various systems to minimize breakdowns and repairs.
  • Respond to emergency situations to repair electrical faults and restore power.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Team Lead.
Team:Overview of team this role will be a part of the Mt. Orab Maintenance team reporting directly to the Maintenance Team Lead.Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 plus years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Strong technical skills including electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Apprenticeship, vocational training, or an associate degree in mechanical and/or electrical technology.
  • Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), preferably Asset Essentials
  • Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations.
  • Thorough understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components.
  • CNC experience.
