Position Summary:We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Mt Orab, Ohio. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within facilities.
Work You'll Do:- Install and maintain systems and equipment.
- Inspect and test systems and equipment to identify any faults or issues.
- Repair or replace faulty components.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems.
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks.
- Advise on potential upgrades or improvements to various systems.
- Perform general cleaning, upkeep, and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on various systems to minimize breakdowns and repairs.
- Respond to emergency situations to repair electrical faults and restore power.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Team Lead.
Team:Overview of team this role will be a part of the Mt. Orab Maintenance team reporting directly to the Maintenance Team Lead.
Basic Qualifications:- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 plus years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Strong technical skills including electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:- Apprenticeship, vocational training, or an associate degree in mechanical and/or electrical technology.
- Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), preferably Asset Essentials
- Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform responsibilities.
- Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations.
- Thorough understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components.
- CNC experience.
