Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Night Shift Maintenance Mechanic to ensure our aggregates processing equipment operates efficiently. This role is crucial in maintaining high safety standards while minimizing equipment downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on aggregates processing machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems to ensure consistent operations.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to enhance plant operations.
- Keep precise maintenance records and reporting.
Qualifications:
- A strong mechanical aptitude with effective problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Experience using hand and power tools proficiently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to upholding safety and quality standards.
Conditions of Employment:
- Must pass a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screening, and background check.
- Some positions may require ongoing FMCSA regulated drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment:
- The role requires working in environments with moving mechanical equipment, as well as exposure to inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
