Superior Forge & Steel Corporation is currently hiring Millwrights for our operation. The Millwright is a member of our Maintenance Department responsible for providing mechanical maintenance support for plant facilities and equipment. This will be a 2nd or 3rd shift position.
Competitive wages $25.00 - $33.00/hr based on experience, benefit/insurance package, 8 paid holidays, 401K, PTO, Vacation, Paid Relief Days, $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS, this position is eligible for the production and other incentives.
Responsibilities:
* Installing, repairing and maintaining industrial buildings and machinery
* Reading/interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketches,
* Possibly fabricating parts and assemblies
* Welding, brazing and cutting, shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, oxy-fuel
* General plant maintenance
* Perform department duties as needed
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:
* Must be capable of lifting and handling 50 lbs
* Will be exposed to seasonal temperature changes
* Manufacturing environment with heat, noise, dust, and vibration
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Previous mechanical or construction experience a plus
* Welding skills a plus
* Previous millwright apprenticeship program a plus
* Basic math skills
* Attention to detail
* Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills
* Must be able to work any shift
* No prior plant experience required - Company paid apprenticeship program available
Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen
Benefits:
