Maintenance Night Position - Silgan Containers Corporation : Job Details

Entry Level Maintenance Night Shift 8:00 pm-8:00 am. Job Duties: (include but not limited to)Performing Machine Repair and Preventative Maintenance on both IBM & SBM Machines. Repair Activities as Assigned. Investigates, Evaluates and Takes Appropriate Action to Maintain Performance of all Equipment Within Manufacturing Facility. Desired Skills:General mechanical experience from previous employment or hobbies. Experience safely using power and hand tools. Preferred-history of working in a Maintenance related capacity. Preferred-experience using electrical test equipment. Familiarity with wiring methods and materials. Positive attitude with strong desire to learn new skills and take on additional responsibility. Ability to work well independently and with others. All work needs to be performed in a craftsmanship like manner. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
