MAINTENANCE OPERATOR E - Royal Oak : Job Details

Royal Oak is looking to hire a maintenance operator. This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment. This opening is for 2nd shift. Position Requirements/Qualifications:

• Basic to intermediate welding and cutting skills
• Basic to intermediate mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use various measuring tools; tape measure, calipers, etc.
• Basic to intermediate automation troubleshooting
• Ability to use various hand tools

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production
• Parts replacement such as changing sprockets, swapping motors, replacing conveyor belts, etc
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines
• Ability to train on basic TPM (Total Preventive Maintenance) tasks

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work overtime or weekends
• Ability for work in extreme environmental temperatures
