The Data Center Engineering Availability team is looking for a Maintenance Ops Readiness Sr. TPM to serve as a technical resource and leader. The builder will serve as a technical resource in the development of maintenance programs for power and cooling equipment within AWS Data Centers. This individual will be responsible for driving large-scale global projects and initiatives that directly impact availability for our customers. They will continually improve existing programs, while at the same time solve new problems. The role will require an individual who is comfortable operating in a highly ambiguous space and can deliver and define solutions to problems. They will be capable of growing and adapting their skill sets as the team scope changes. It will be expected that this individual is capable of writing one to six page narratives on efforts and present, both written and verbal, up to the Director level.This role is for Herndon, VA only and not open for other locations. That's why you'll find endless knowledge-sharing, mentorship and other career-advancing resources here to help you develop into a better-rounded professional.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience- 3+ years of software development experience- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules- 5+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership- 5+ cumulative years of experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation, oil/gas facilities.
