Job Summary:The Maintenance Person at La Quinta Inn & Suites By Wyndham Seattle Sea-Tac Airport is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of the hotel's facilities and equipment. As a key member of our team, the Maintenance Person will work closely with other departments to ensure that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay at our hotel. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the hospitality/restaurant industry, located in Seattle, Washington.Compensation & Benefits:The compensation for this role is $19 to $21 per hour, paid semimonthly. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth within our company.Responsibilities:-Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the hotel by performing routine and deep cleaning tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and back of house areas-Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to identify and address maintenance issues-Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing plumbing issues, and repairing furniture and equipment-Assist with the upkeep and maintenance of the hotel's landscaping and outdoor areas-Maintain and organize inventory of supplies and equipment-Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests and concerns-Follow all safety procedures and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and utilized-Report any maintenance or safety issues to the management team-Communicate and work closely with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and a seamless guest experienceRequirements:-High school diploma or equivalent-Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a hospitality or customer service environment-Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and techniques-Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively-Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization-Excellent communication and customer service skills-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and climbing-Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work-Able to pass a background check and drug screeningEEOC Statement:We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
