ROLE:The Maintenance Planner has a key responsibility in ensuring that the Maintenance Department is adequately and pro-actively able to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently to minimize machine downtime.KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- This role will utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to perform work record history and identify parts usage in a timely and effective manner.
- Always work in a safe manner following all established safety rules and regulations.
- Follow all established Maintenance practices regarding SAP, Preventative maintenance paperwork, parts usage, and ordering.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maximize the use of the CMMS System, Infor EAM to maintain:
- Equipment/machine documents, booklets and inspections records
- Monitor, create and manage PM schedules and maintenance programs
- Maintain oil sampling and analysis records.
- Work order management from requests through to being submitted for approval
- Management of spare parts inventory levels
- Make recommendations for reorder point and order quantities based on utilization analysis
- Update value of stockroom inventory regularly
- Maintain condition of the spare parts stockroom
- Receive and put away inventory in a timely manner
- Ensure the stockroom is clean organized by performing general housekeeping, complying to GMPs, SQF, Yum Brands and Panda Express policies.
- Research parts and supplies
- Complete purchase requisitions and route for approval
- Source new vendors
- Obtain quotes
- Primarily responsible tracking, updating and maintain of all maintenance related electronic and/or physical documents, records, and inspections in support of:
- Quality requirements such as: Siliker, Yum, GMP, SQF, and Yum brands audits.
- Preventative maintenance programs
- Safety and environmental training, tracking and audits
- Maintain lock and key cabinet program.
- Maintain and issue LO/TO padlocks and supplies.
- Coordinate with Safety Coordinator/Manager to ensure third-party contractors are compliant to Genpak's Maintain Contractor Safety Program(s).
- Standard Work Processes or Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain and enter information and data into EMIS.
- Work with service suppliers such as:
- Uniform and/or carpet rental service provider
- Vending services
- Landscaping service
- Work overtime as business demands, including monthly training meetings as mandated by OSHA and plant sanitation certifications.
- Other responsibilities as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or GED
- Knowledge of PC and Network based software including Word Processing, Spreadsheet and Database applications.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of machine function preferred
- Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints and or schematics is a plus
- Research and problem-solving skills required
