Job Location : Bronx,NY, USA
Maintain a clean and healthy environment for clients, staff, and volunteers by performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Sweep and clean offices, common areas, bathroom, conference room (2), dining area, kitchen
2. Repair and perform minor plumbing, lock repairs.
3. Assist in unloading and storage of deliveries.
4. Remove garbage throughout the offices, conference rooms (2) dining area, kitchen and bathroom.
5. Set up and break down conference and meeting rooms.
6. Clean and mop floors. Prepare floors for stripping and waxing as required in all areas.
7. Move furniture, equipment, assemble and disassemble furniture.
8. Touch up painting when required.
9. Report safety issues
10. Basic computer skills, able to send and receive emails.
11. Overtime is a requirement.
12. Ability to use basic electric and manual tools.
13. Make deliveries, and pick up packages.
14. Facilitate effective communication with other staff.
15. Maintain janitorial cleaning supplies, manage inventory.
16. Participate in training and staff-development activities to acquire and maintain both interpersonal and operational skils necessary for job performance.
