We will do this by focusing on solutions, maintaining commitment to our people and customers, and ensuring on-time delivery of fuel and related products.Job Summary: As a Service & Maintenance Technician, you are under general supervision, performs a variety of general maintenance duties which include electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and construction in the maintenance and repair of C-Stores, pumps, tanks, facilities, and equipment. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Performs Maintenance/Operation duties within the Companys policies and procedures
  • Completes servicing needs for C-Stores, Corporate Office and Transportation equipment as directed by the Service Manager
  • Works in a manner to support the Companys safety, quality, efficiency, and cost metrics
  • Performs Preventive Maintenance (PM) of all transportation and store equipment
  • Facilitates necessary repairs to maintain a high state of performance on all equipment
  • Coordinates the rebuild, replacement, and installation of equipment
  • Delivers products to customers and stores.
  • Maintains inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment; recommends tools, supplies, and equipment for purchase
  • Communicates effectively in a professional, tactful, and courteous manner with customers, other employees, and the public.
  • Completes inspections and other duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation, License, & Experience:
  • 1-2+ years experience in Maintenance of heavy equipment, tanks, and pumps, and/or tractors and trailers
  • Heavy equipment repairs
  • Repairs on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, flooring, and other construction equipment
  • Quality Inspections
  • Possess the following licenses or acquire within the time frames listed below:
    • Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement (6 months)
    • UST license (1 year)
    • Dept. of AG Repairmans License (90 days)
    • Testing for Wayne Pump Certification (negotiable)
    • Testing for Gilbarco Pump & Register Certification (negotiable)
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None
Location and Hours: This position is based out of the main warehouse in Kosciusko, MS office, with daily travel to central MS locations and other areas as necessary. Hours are generally 7am 5pm, Monday Friday, with an on-call rotation for holidays and weekends. Out of town & overnight travel may be required on occasion.Essential Physical Requirements:
  • Walk, lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel, crouch, and hear.
  • Have the ability to climb steps and ladders
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Lifts/carries 50 pounds occasionally, pushing/pulling a maximum force of 75 pounds; Safe Lifting criteria, floor to knuckle 50 pounds, shoulder to overhead 30 pounds
  • Expose occasionally to fumes or airborne particles
  • Exposure to extreme cold or heat.
  • Able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries and make entries on reports and records.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, percentages, and decimals.
  • Constant state of alertness and ability to perform in a safe manner.
