What This Position Is About

The Electrician is responsible for performing regular maintenance checks/activities and whenever required repairing the machines in an efficient and quality manner in order to ensure the smooth execution of the production process.

Overview:

We are seeking skilled Production Line Electrician candidates for a night shift position. This role is crucial for maintaining high product quality and operational efficiency. Please note that initial training will be conducted during the day shift and will continue until the end of 2024. This is an excellent opportunity to gain the necessary skills and knowledge before transitioning to the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Maintenance & Repair:

  • Ensuring proper functioning of the machines in filter production, cigarette production, and packaging, by carrying out machine set-up, conversions, adjustments, cleaning, maintenance, and required electrical repairs, including removal of electrical line defects in order to reach maximum line efficiency.
  • Conduct electrical repairs and monitor machine functions to ensure peak performance.

  • The incumbent performs continuous monitoring and inspection of all electrical machine functions as well as essential parameter regulations and measurements.

• Spare Parts Management:

  • Inspect machines regularly and order spare parts as needed using our SAP system.
  • Plan and request spare parts to ensure timely availability and installation.

• Troubleshooting:

  • Monitor production lines and analyze stoppage and breakdown data.
  • Execute corrective and preventive actions based on machine needs.
  • Performing corrective and preventive activities according to line needs. Sharing all needed information with other electricians and mechanical technicians working in subsequent shifts and utilizing all collected knowledge for proper planning of shift and machine maintenance.

• Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and suggest improvements for equipment efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean production area and follow 5S3R standards.

• Safety Compliance:

  • Follow all safety regulations and identify potential hazards in the workplace.
  • Report incidents and unsafe conditions, ensuring a safe working environment.

Who Are We Looking For - Requirements

• Secondary education - Electro-technical profile (mechanical, electrical, electronics, industrial automation).
• 5+years of validated experience, in closely related roles within an FMCG or industry environment
• Fluency in English
• MS Office, SAP PM, Analytics.
• Knowledge of TBM (Time Based Maintenance) / CBM (Condition Based Maintenance) would be beneficial.
