Job Type Full-time Description Maintenance Specialist Under the supervision of the Operations Director the Maintenance Specialist will perform a variety of administrative, record keeping, and light maintenance duties for Maintenance. Essential Functions:
- Performs data entry to update and keep current all maintenance files.
- Schedules appointments with vendors for vehicle and facilities inspections and maintenance as assigned.
- Produces daily work order lists for maintenance personnel, monitors, and follows up to assure that assignments are completed to required standards.
- Uses computer efficiently to accomplish most tasks.
- Types and files records and other data for the maintenance department.
- Assists with maintaining and distributing office supplies and supply requisition system.
- Shares on-call rotation with other maintenance/operations personnel.
- Assists with minor maintenance functions when needed or requested.
- Maintains an active awareness of cultural diversity of individuals and other employees and works to accommodate that diversity in work, training, and leisure activities.
- Is familiar with RSL Policies and Procedures Manual and RSL Bloodborne Pathogens Plan.
- Handles emergencies in a calm, efficient, and effective manner.
- Will complete a minimum of 4 hours per year of professional training approved in advance by his/her supervisor over and above required training or updates of required training.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from high school and two years' administrative or maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license of at least 3 years' duration
- Clean criminal background check.
