We are currently looking for a Maintenance Specialist PRN to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company with a reputation for exceptional service and patient care.*** PRN employees work up to 29 hours a week and are not elibile for certain benefits ***What you will do:* Performs and accomplishes minor maintenance carpentry, electrical, plumbing and fire proofing necessary to the maintenance, repair and renovation of University Health buildings and facilities.* Ensures safe, competent, efficient, and timely performance of assigned tasks* Estimates materials, labor costs, and requisitionsWhat we require:* Completion of high school, trade school or equivalent GED* One year experience of at least two or more building crafts such as general maintenance, construction, plumbing or electricity is required.* Must possess a Maintenance Technician License from the City of San Antonio or obtain same within 3 months of employment.* A valid Texas State driver's license Class C and must maintain a clean Motor Vehicle RecordWhy you should apply:* Advancement opportunities* Generous benefits packages (PT & FT)* Flexible hours and paid time off* We are ranked as one of the best hospitals in South Texas
