Global manufacturer of food and drink packaging in need of a Maintenance Supervisor for its advanced manufacturing facility in their Fulton, NY location. Company has 15,000+ employees in 70+ manufacturing facilities across 30+ countries.In this role you will be responsible for:- Plan and schedule maintenance activities (such as planned maintenance programs, shut-downs, or emergency repairs) of maintenance teams- Allocate maintenance technicians to tasks and activities for maximum efficiency- Direct facility and production-related maintenance activities for the factory to obtain maximum efficiency from both equipment and personnel to meet or exceed department objectives- Actively support operations, safety, sanitation, and quality goals for the plantThe maintenance department provides technical leadership and support to the production areas. The department is responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of the equipment used to print and form paper cups, lids, and ice cream containers on a 24/7 basis. Approximately 60 hourly workers provide all types of mechanical and electrical support to the facility. The supervisor engages in effective training and development of employees by providing clear objectives, tools and resources needed to succeed.The candidate will be challenged to provide staffing needed to balance the day-to-day production needs while maintaining a preventive maintenance program.Syracuse area. Monday – Friday, 6pm - 2am.Base salary, 15% bonus, 401k and full benefits. There is relocation for the right candidate.
