As a Maintenance Supervisor at CATA, you will be working with a team of dedicated employees who are committed to providing excellent service to all our staff. Some pertinent responsibilities of the position are listed below.
+ Assists the Maintenance Manager and as necessary, acts on their behalf in their absence.
+ Supervises, trains, instructs, and monitors the work of the mechanics and service crew engaged in maintaining, servicing, repairing, and fueling buses and other vehicles and equipment.
+ Ensures completed work by shop personnel meets quality, performance, and safety expectations.
+ Responds to inquiries and pre-trip notations concerning vehicles and equipment.
+ Ensures that all completed work is appropriately captured and recorded in the fleet management software and that all records are accurate.
+ Coordinates, prepares, submits, and completes warranty claims.
+ Communicates disciplinary actions and prepares proper paperwork related to discipline procedures.
+ Oversees the road call program to minimize unnecessary road calls while providing timely and efficient support to the operations department.
+ Conducts daily shift meeting with shop personnel to identify and resolve problems; provides guidance when needed.
+ Coordinates shop personnels shifts and assignments.
Position requires possession of, or the ability to obtain, Class A CDL with passenger endorsement, PA State Inspection License (S7) and 609 AC certification. CATA provides CDL training and assistance for inspection license and AC certification.

Starting salary (dependent upon experience and qualifications ): $56,772.25 - $64,301.00
