Job Description :

We are looking for both 1st shift and 2nd shift Maintenance Managers. The ideal candidate will be constantly assessing the systems in place to ensure that they are both safe and operating efficiently. This candidate will be comfortable leading a team and identifying areas for improvement. This candidate should also be comfortable ensuring necessary utilities are working correctly and possess strong organizational skills in order to keep track of multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ability to understand the areas in which training is needed in the department
  • Diagnostic and Root Cause analysis
  • Robotics, PLC programs and Schematics/Blueprints
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems
  • Electrical and Electronic systems
  • Preventative and Predictable Maintenance Process
  • Safety and Environmental Process knowledge
  • OSHA standards, regulatory and codes
  • BOS including Work Order SAP
  • Ability to interface with all levels of Management and Customers
  • Prepare and present reports/graphs to demonstrate topics required
  • Responsible for all maintenance purchasing functions, including parts crib
  • Maintains cost control measures
  • New Program launches and vendor plant visits
  • Lead by example is key function
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or university with a minimum 2+ years of related experience within the automotive manufacturing industry focusing on maintaining a very large campus, equipment, machinery and personnel
  • 1+ years supervisory experience with heavy machinery, production lines or related fields
  • Strong understanding in the implementation and requirements of procedures such as Schematics, PLC's etc.
  • Working knowledge of SPC, DOE, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, Control Plans, and measurement techniques desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills. Able to lead teams, make key decisions and make clear progress forward on assignments.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP.
  • Working with the Hourly Bargaining Union and the Salary Bargaining Union in a cohesive manner.
  • ARC Flash and LOTO Program/trained
  • All PPE requirements for self and all employees a top priority.
  • Knowledge in IATF16949 Audits and ISO14001 Audits and processes.
  • Lean Six Sigma and Black Belt certification desirable
  • Experience in high volume medium to large campus
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
  • High degree of verbal communication, Software/Computer capability
  • Ability to identify and solve inefficiencies in processes
