Maintenance Supervisor - Leeds Professional Resources : Job Details

Overview

Our client is looking for a facility maintenance supervisor position for their manufacturing facility in Ohio. This position would be inspecting work performed in assigned building/property(s) and submitting reports to the Director of Operations. Position may be indoors to maintain the interior of the facility, outdoors to maintain the exterior, or a mixture of both.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
• Regularly inspect buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and potential issues.
• Hire, train, and supervise maintenance technicians and contractors, assigning tasks and evaluating performance.
• Respond to maintenance requests, prioritize repairs, and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Monitor maintenance expenses, manage inventory of parts and supplies, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee small renovation projects, coordinating with contractors and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, including OSHA standards, and conduct safety inspections.
• Lead the response to facility emergencies, such as power outages, plumbing leaks, or HVAC failures.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and work orders, generating reports as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• 4+ years of previous facility maintenance experience required. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
