Maintenance Supervisor opportunity in Rochester! (2nd & 3rd shift positions available).

Are you a skilled Maintenance Supervisor looking for an exciting opportunity with a dynamic company in the Rochester area? Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee maintenance repairs and ensure smooth operations across various building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and oversee departmental schedules and work.
• Ensure all direct reports adhere to lock-out/tag-out procedures and safety practices.
• Train and supervise team members on correct maintenance repair procedures.
• Monitor production and plant utilities' equipment efficiencies.
• Develop and train team members on best maintenance practices.
• Ensure daily preventative maintenance routing sheets are completed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or related role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations related to plant operations and maintenance.
• Ability to understand and operate facility systems and equipment, identify issues, and determine necessary repairs.
• Strong analytical skills to perform and assess various system checks.
• Excellent task prioritization and delegation skills, with the ability to prepare maintenance schedules.
