Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Hazle Township, PA

Shift: 2nd Shift

Target Pay Rate: $85K-$92K

  • $5000 sign on bonus

Job Overview:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing maintenance technicians and ensuring the efficient operation of a 24/7 bakery environment. This role involves supervising and assisting in equipment repairs, breakdowns, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. The Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations, minimizing downtime, and maintaining production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and repairing equipment breakdowns.
  • Prepare technician schedules to ensure 24/7 line coverage and oversee preventative maintenance activities.
  • Recommend and allocate overtime as necessary to support operational needs.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to document plant needs for the fiscal year, including equipment repair or replacement costs.
  • Maintain and track repair schedules for equipment and ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Manage department performance measures, including visual controls, and regularly report progress to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and maintenance protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems and the PSM Standard preferred.
  • Expertise in maintenance/engineering, including hydraulics, mechanics, process control, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in using Excel and Word for managing reports and spreadsheets.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
