Learn more about us: www.condairgroup.com We are seeking a full-time multi-craft Maintenance Team Member to be part of a team of Maintenance Technicians for both first and second shift operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor in support of both manufacturing and facility maintenance, as well as support staff for spare parts and work-order management. This position requires a results-oriented, high-energy, dynamic individual in a fast-paced, high-growth delivery network. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain the successful operation of production machines according to priorityAbility to use a systematic approach in solving problems through analysis of problem and evaluation of alternate solutions; use logic, mathematics, or other problem-solving tools in data analysis or in generating solutionsDemonstrate knowledge of technical skills to include, but not limited to, the following: proficient in machine shop practices - welding, fabrication, minor electrical skills, plumbing skills, computer skills, troubleshooting, reading a micrometer, drill press operation, and reading and understanding diagramsUse precision measuring equipment to perform alignment of pumps, shafts, motors and gearboxesPerform rigging and lifting of heavy components/equipment while following all applicable safety requirementsUse a wide range of mechanical blueprints to perform tear down and rebuilds of manufacturing production equipment and componentsWorking knowledge of electrical control systemsBe able to wire and verify operation of 3 phase, single phase and DC motors according to electrical schematicsAbility to follow mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic layoutsTracks work performance, document parts and repairs completed through use of computer-based maintenance softwareEfficient and effective troubleshooting ability. Knowledge and effective use of computerized systemsWorking knowledge of production support systemPassion for driving results & demonstrated history of self-developmentDemonstrate knowledge of plant and process safety rules, safe operating methods, and good housekeepingDemonstrates effective interaction skills to support team activities related to effective process decisions and goalsPerform Preventive MaintenanceConduct Lock-Out/Tag-Out proceduresCommunication of actions taken to repair the machine to Operator and/or Lead Perform any other duties as assigned Professional Skills, Qualifications, and Competencies: Education and Experience: 2 or more years of maintenance technician experience in manufacturing environment, High School Diploma or equivalent- Required, Post-Secondary education or certification equivalent, preferredLanguage Skills: Excellent verbal, writing and comprehension skills in EnglishAbility to Reason: Strong planning and organization skills are required. Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work, set targets and make decisions, ability to work accurately and methodically under pressure.Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
