This is a full-time position eligible for benefitsJOB SUMMARY: Provide proper maintenance and repair of all buildings and infrastructure.JOB STATUS: Non-ExemptESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintenance
- Performs general maintenance functions as they relate to all facilities.
- Recommend and implement improvements of preventive maintenance programs.
- Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
- UtilizesCMMS for work order management, tracking and completion of all requests.
- Performs periodic inspections of building infrastructure and equipment.
- Responsible for keeping inventory and tools organized and in good condition.
- Repair
- Will repair and maintainsecondary voltage, LP, HVAC, Drinking and Waste water systems.
- Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems
- Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems within the building's electricity
- Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs and window and door change outs.
- Construction skills such as painting, masonry, roofing and welding
- Ability to work in extreme hot or cold conditions
- Assists in snow removal and other tasks as assigned including after normal work hours.
- Coordinate and maintain positive working relationships with impacted partners to assure minimal down time.
- Safety
- Ensures facilities is in safe working condition and reports potential safety issues and recommends appropriate changes.
- Ensures tools and maintenance equipment are in working order and keeps maintenance buildings clean and organized.
- Operate different tools and equipment such as golf carts, company vehicles, heavy equipment, forklifts, etc. in a safe manner.
- Complies with factory specifications in relationship to equipment and material, and assures that all materials are handled according to factory recommendations and training.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 - 5 years of related experience.
- Skilled with Microsoft programs and must possess ability to learn to software such as a CMMS.
- Has high skill level to work on the areas of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, hvac and window repairs
- Hold and maintain a Class B driving certification with a Hazardous material certification from the DMV in the State of California. This certification must be completed within a 6-month period of time from hire date.
