Maintenance Tech (GG3 - Full Time) - Michael Foods Group : Job Details

Follow Preventative Maintenance Program. Responsible for maintaining fans, baffle systems and cool cell systems. Responsible for egg collection system, including but not limited to, elevator chain adjustment, drive chain adjustment, rod conveyors and air cylinders for egg savers. (Only at Layer Houses) Responsible for gear box maintenance and cross conveyor belts. Responsible for maintaining manure system in belt houses including, but not limited to, replacement and adjustment of belts, tracking of belts, repair and welding of belts, repair and adjustment of drive rollers, greasing of idler rollers and repair adjustment of cross conveyors and incline belts. Responsible for vulcanizing of cross conveyor belts. (Only at Layer Houses) May have to assist in the pulling of pits and belts. Responsible for maintaining an efficient, clean and organized work area. Responsible for monitoring and inventory usage of parts.
