Summary:
The Maintenance Tech is responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of all facilities and equipment within the Mossyrock School District. This is a full-time position requiring a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong technical and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
* Perform regular maintenance and repairs on all district facilities and equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
* Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
* Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and district policies.
* Assist with the planning and execution of construction and renovation projects.
* Collaborate with other district staff and contractors to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
* Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work in a variety of weather conditions.
