Job DetailsJob LocationPawhuska - Pawhuska, OKPosition TypeRegular Full-TimeDescriptionThe Maintenance Technician I is responsible for the overall maintenance of structures and grounds of the Osage Nation Senior Housing properties. The Maintenance Tech I must perform miscellaneous tasks requiring hand labor for the development and maintenance of tribal lands and structures. Responsible for overall maintenance, plumbing, and electrical components of Tribal buildings.Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in any field preferred
- Must have 2 years of maintenance and/or construction experience
- Mechanical, electrical and plumbing training certifications preferred
- Must be able to work all hours/shifts/service calls as needed
- Must possess knowledge and ability to safely operate tractors, brush hog, backhoe, forklift and all other equipment used by the maintenance staff
- Must be able lift at least 30 lbs. and drag or pull at least 100 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, lift, bend and climb ladders
- Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics
- Requires a high level of problem solving skills
- Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills, including travel to conferences and training sessions
- Requires good interpersonal communication and team work skills
- Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance that positively represents the Nation
- Must maintain confidentiality at all times
- Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to meet deadlines
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record - may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicle
