If this sounds like what you are looking for, we'd love to hear from you!JOB SUMMARY: A Maintenance Technician at Woodward Camp is an integral part of the camper's experience. They will be part of the maintenance staff, maintaining records, keeping Woodward's renowned facilities operating at a high level. A Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks across the property ensuring the campus remains clean, safe, functional, and welcoming for our guests. These vital tasks may include landscaping, cleaning, removing trash, and performing maintenance on a wide array of features at our facilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate power driven street equipment
• Pick up litter, trash and leaves
• Respond to emergency calls
• Perform painting duties, sand, caulk, prime and paint
• Perform groundskeeping tasks such as: weed eating, mowing grass, and landscaping
• Well versed in electric, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical and fleet maintenance

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision, agile, and able to pivot quickly
• Exhibits initiative, responsibility, and accountability
• Strong attention to detail

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:

• 1+ of years' experience in general maintenance techniques
• OSHA certified on applicable equipment

BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS:

• As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening.
• Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment
• Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines
