Maintenance Technician 2 – 3rd Shift Location: Williamsport, MD Pay: $25.00 - $31.00/hour Shift: 3rd Shift

Position Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Technician Level 2 with strong skills in hydraulics, fabrication, millwright, and electrical work. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, test, and diagnose machinery for proper operation.
• Dismantle machines and install new or repaired parts.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical components.
• Read blueprints and schematics for installations and repairs.
• Maintain accurate equipment maintenance records.
• Complete work orders according to priority, ensuring efficient plant operations.
• Adhere to safety procedures, wear PPE, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; formal technical training a plus.
• Minimum of 6 months maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and troubleshoot mechanical systems.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motor drives.
• Certifications in Lock-Out/Tag-Out, First Aid/CPR, and NFPA 70E .

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

• Regularly required to stand, use hands, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 40 lbs. (up to 100 lbs. with assistance).
• Exposure to loud noise, outside weather conditions, and moving mechanical parts.
• Ability to work in environments that may involve wet/humid conditions or chemicals.
