Apply today and grow your career with PeopleShare!Details for the Maintenance Technician Day & Night Shifts:* Pay Rate $30-34/hr* DAY SCHEDULE/HOURS: 6:30am-6:45pm (rotating 12 hour shifts on a 2/2/3 schedule)* NIGHT SCHEDULE/HOURS: 6:30pm-6:45am *Training the first 3 months are 1st shift hours (then rotating 12 hour shifts on a 2/2/3 schedule)Job Responsibilities & Description for the Maintenance Technician Day & Night Shifts:* Responsible for maintaining plant equipment. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of PLCs and possess troubleshooting and repair experience with electrical systems.* Diagnose and repair all types of manufacturing equipment using specialized experience in electrical and PLC-controlled equipment.* Upgrades equipment from outdated relay logic to PLC controls by building new panels from wiring diagrams and schematics.* Maintains a total productive maintenance program that follows the manufacturer's instructions and established procedures.* This includes all manufacturing equipment, HVAC, vacuum systems, dust collection systems, dehumidifier units, air compressors, furnaces, lighting, etc.* Assists with handling equipment breakdowns and completes maintenance work requests as needed and assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.* Assists in modifications as described in approved project proposals.* Makes local pick-ups of items required for projects or maintenance projects.* Utilizes time between various stages of major projects to accomplish smaller projects.* Handling all building maintenanceJob Requirements for the Maintenance Technician Day & Night Shifts:* Must be able to occasionally work outdoors when working on HVAC units, compressors, and other external equipment* Must be able to walk, climb, kneel, stoop, bend, drive, and lift up to 50 lbs* Must be able to comfortably operate shop equipment including power and hand tools* Must have good math skills with the ability to read and understand operating instructions and manuals* Must be advanced in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and general computer applications.* Must possess a valid driver's license, be able to transport 50 pounds, operate shop equipment, power tools, and use hand tools.* Preferred PLC experience and HMI experienceBonuses and Perks for the Maintenance Technician Day & Night Shifts:* Health benefits available 30 days after hire* 401k match* Great opportunities for growthPeopleShare is the leading Staffing Agency in the region and has temporary to hire and permanent jobs in Delaware (DE) - New Castle, Newark, and Wilmington.
