Unless specifically stated otherwise, this role is On-Site at the location detailed in the job post.This is a full-time, hourly level position.Starting salary range for this position is $26Job Summary:The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, monitor, document and manage maintenance and inventory for production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of business goals and objectives.Essential Job Functions:Manage and document maintenance activities using company's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Complete department's inventory by overseeing the storage, receiving, and distribution of parts and supplies for all maintenance activitiesPerform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facility's equipmentProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production/packaging equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine servicePerform machinist duties and responsibilitiesPerform mechanic skills, including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machinesRead and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and serviceDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustmentsPerform regular preventative maintenance on machines, packaging equipment and plant facilitiesPerform a variety of plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and industrial cleaning functionsDetect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervisionUse a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing dutiesComply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areasOther duties as assignedAdditional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesJob Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDPackaging equipment maintenance experience preferred1+ years' manufacturing experience preferredComputerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience preferredInventory management experience preferredWorking Conditions:Employees in this position working at this location are [or may be] exposed to various potential chemical and food allergens due to the nature of our business and the requirements of the job.
